Project Options¶

The next step in the process concerns the embedding of bitmaps and icons in the executable.

The library encompasses several images employed in toolbars and dialogs. These images must be distributed with the application, either as external files or embedded within the compiled project. The DataFlex compiler automatically embeds the images listed in the <project-name>.cfg file into the compiled executable. It's worth noting that a workspace may encompass multiple projects, and not all projects may necessitate a connection to DataFlex Reports.

To include the library bitmaps and icons in a project's CFG file, carefully select the projects requiring these additions. Ensure that the project's CFG file(s) are writable to facilitate the seamless integration of these images.
