DataFlex Reports Runtime Installer

The runtime installer contains three pages with options:

  • Location page
  • Folder: Select, enter, or browse to the folder where the runtime is to be installed.

  • Overwrite all files: If this checkbox is selected, existing files in the destination folder will be overwritten.

  • Select dr.db file

  • Your DataFlex Reports may require a modified dr.db file. The dr.db file contains the ELF (Extended Library Functions) mappings and label definitions, and this page allows you to select your version of dr.db instead of the default one.

  • Note that the default dr.db contains references to codemast.dll only.

  • Select Language

  • For using the DataFlex embedded database, a correct df_collate.cfg is needed. If you installed DataFlex or deployed DataFlex applications using the embedded database and you have used a different df_collate.cfg file, you need to copy this to the deployment location. Using a df_collate.cfg that does not match the collation used to build DataFlex index files usually results in endless find operations.
