Create a new page layer¶

In the ‘File’ menu, select ‘New’, then ‘Page layer…’ to create a new page layer. You are free to place text, lines, boxes, and images all over the page, but remember that reports will be printed on top of the page layer. Most often, page layers will simply be used for placing a logo and address, similar to pre-printed company paper.

Creating a new page layer based on an existing one is done the same way as with a report. See Create a new report based on an existing report.

You must save the page layer file before it can be used in a report.
