RTF Support¶

The Rich Text Format (abbreviation RTF) is a proprietary document file format with a published specification developed by Microsoft Corporation from 1987 until 2008 for cross-platform document interchange with Microsoft products.

DataFlex Reports can handle RTF formatted data stored in a database column or present in a text object when the object option RTF is selected.

There can be limitations on the export of RTF formatted objects. For example, when exporting a report to RTF (Word 2007), not all features of RTF can be supported as the export format does not support all features.
