Keys - Report Explorer

The following key combinations can be used when the report explorer is in focus:

Key combination Action Notes
<Ctrl> Holding the <Ctrl> key while selecting objects allows you to (de)select multiple objects
<Shift> Holding the <Shift> key while selecting objects allows you to (de)select multiple objects
<Ctrl>+<F> Find text in treeview Selects the object when found
<F3> Find next item with same text Adds selection to the previously selected item
<F2> Edit function When the current object is a function
<F2> Edit text When the current object is a textbox object
<F2> Edit sum When the current object is a summary object
<F2> Field properties When the current object is a field
<F2> Edit parameter When the current object is a parameter
<F2> Chart properties When the current object is a chart
<F2> Opens sub-report When the current object is a sub-report
<Ctrl>+<Right Arrow> Expand all children
<Ctrl>+<Left Arrow> Collapse all children

The following key combinations defined globally also work while the report explorer is in focus:

<Ctrl>+<A> Select all objects in designer Report must be opened
<Ctrl>+<B> Toggle bold font attribute Report must be opened and one or more objects need to be selected
<Ctrl>+<I> Toggle italics font attribute Report must be opened and one or more objects need to be selected
<Ctrl>+<U> Toggle underline font attribute Report must be opened and one or more objects need to be selected
<F5> Refresh report data Report must be opened
