Alignment techniques¶

In a well-designed report, objects and fields are aligned both horizontally and, optionally, vertically. There are four ways to achieve this:

• Using the alignment palette
• Using the align option on the font pull-down or the context-sensitive menu after selecting two or more objects
• Using guides
• Using a grid
