No BOM character¶

DataFlex 2021 Studio includes a configuration option to save source code as OEM instead of the new UTF-8 format introduced in DataFlex 2021. The DataFlex Reports integration wizard generated UTF-8 source code but did not allow DataFlex Studio to write a BOM character in the source code. The 8.0.1 update adheres to the DataFlex configuration option, enabling the writing of either OEM source code or UTF-8 source code with a BOM character.

This new feature is exclusively available for the DataFlex 2021 based integration wizard.
