What is new - 7.0¶

Starting with DataFlex Reports 7.0, you can change the report layout when previewing the report. No more need to go back and forth between the design and preview when making layout changes; simply change the layout from the preview tab, and the changes can be viewed immediately. This can be a great time saver, especially when fine-tuning the report design.

Notes¶

• The layout changes require rebuilding the formatted report information, and it is best to use this new feature on a limited set of data (pages with results) as rebuilding thousands of pages by moving one field/object a bit is an expensive operation.
