What is new - 3.0¶

In earlier versions of Visual Report Writer, the report definitions stored in the .VRW file could be locked. This meant that if a report was not opened with the same Visual DataFlex Studio license in use, the report could not be opened or changed. This locking mechanism has changed, and an alternative way of locking has been added: simply provide a password to lock it, and make sure to use the same password to open it again.
