HTML Export, PDF Export and web reporting¶

What is new - 3.0¶

HTML is a new format available for export in Visual Report Writer 3.0. The options include exporting as a single file or as multiple files.

A special feature for delivering HTML reports in the new web framework allows for data to be passed in memory to the web application server, which then delivers the report through a new Web Report Viewer, rather than exporting it to a file.

An existing feature in Visual Report Writer has been the ability to export to PDF. The new capability is that reports can now be presented in the new web framework as PDF using the new Web Report Viewer.
