Move the mouse cursor to the position in the report where the chart should appear after selecting this menu option. Keep the mouse button pressed while adjusting the chart to the appropriate size. When the mouse button is released, the 'Insert Chart wizard' will appear. See [Adding a chart](../../../explanations/charts/adding-a-chart.md).
Changing chart properties (such as type, data source, legend, etc.) can be done via the Chart Properties dialog. To change the chart object properties, use the [field properties](../../dialogs/field-properties/properties.md) dialog (floating menu) and the [format menu](../format-menu.md).
