Exclude from start of page footer

When the print engine needs to calculate the space on a sheet of paper that can be used for detail and group sections, the size of the page footers is important for this calculation. The total height of the page footer sections is subtracted from the paper size. If a report has multiple page footer sections, there is a significant chance that one or more of these sections are conditionally used. If not all page footers are used on each page, the sum of their heights would take too much from the paper size. This option tells the engine to skip the selected section from the height calculation.

To ensure there is enough space for the footer(s), make sure that either the largest page footer is used in the height calculation or that the sum of the page footer heights is sufficient to print the conditionally used page footers.
