1. Select the report type¶

The first step in creating a new report is to select the report type. DataFlex Reports support a standard and label style report. In a standard report, the details (records) are printed top-to-bottom. A label type report allows you to print the details in one or more columns. In this sample, we will use the standard type.

There are two options here:

• Standard Report (for reports that list articles, customers, allow grouping etc)
• Label Reports (for mailing labels)
