Image Selector

Use the Image Selector dialog to select an image filename from the list of available images in your workspace. This dialog is used by the Object Properties window to select a filename for image-based properties.

Image List

The image list displays each icon and bitmap file that is accessible to the current workspace. The list shows the first 16x16 pixels of the image followed by the image's filename.

File Path

The directory path of the currently selected image file in the list is displayed below the list. This provides information about the exact location of the image file.

Selecting Images

To select an image file, click on the image filename in the image list.

To select an image and close the dialog, double-click it in the image list.

Filters

Icons

  • Check the Icons checkbox to show all available icon (.ico) files.
  • Uncheck this box to filter out icon files.

Bitmaps

  • Check the Bitmaps checkbox to show all available bitmap (.bmp) files.
  • Uncheck this box to filter out bitmap files.

Browse

Click Browse to activate the Open File dialog to select an image filename.

OK

Click OK to close the dialog and return the currently selected image filename.

Cancel

Click Cancel to close the panel without performing any further action.
