Confirmation Flags
This tab page shows the confirmations you can turn ON or OFF. The default for all four configuration flags is ON. These confirmations are intended to increase security. Database Explorer accesses the data in a different way than your applications, so the data integrity rules are not in effect. By having confirmation questions, you can help avoid unwanted changes. Experienced developers/users might not want the confirmation questions all the time and can turn them off here.
Confirm Delete Record Operation
If checked, Database Explorer will prompt the user for confirmation for each record about to be deleted. This option is not used for each record during the delete all records operation.
Confirm Save Record Operation
If checked, Database Explorer will prompt the user for confirmation when saving a record. Selecting Cancel in the confirmation dialog will return you to data entry.
Confirm Dataloss Operation
If checked, Database Explorer will prompt the user for confirmation when clearing a record after having changed non-indexed values in that record.
Confirm Close All Tables Question
If checked, Database Explorer will prompt the user for confirmation when attempting to close all tables.
Depending on your configuration of Close Tables on Rootitem Click, when you click on the root node of the List of Tables, currently open tables will be closed. This configuration option can be used to avoid this operation.
