Configuring Colors

This tab page is used to define the colors used in Database Explorer for express states. All the forms in this tab page display the color in number value as well as the color itself. The prompt button will open the color selector dialog, allowing you to pick an RGB color. The selected value is displayed and set in the forms.

Current Row Color

The color selected and displayed here is used for the current row in the data grid. The default color is clWindow. Instead of setting a color inside Database Explorer, users can change the Windows color for a "window." That color can be set in Windows screen properties, and Database Explorer will use it. The Windows default is white.

Current Cell Color

The color selected and displayed here is used for the current cell in the data grid. The default color is clWindow. Instead of setting a color inside Database Explorer, users can change the Windows color for a "window." That color can be set in Windows screen properties, and Database Explorer will use it. The Windows default is white.

ReadOnly Text Color

This color setting is used to indicate that the table is opened in read-only mode. The default value is clGrayText. Instead of setting a color inside Database Explorer, users can change the Windows color for a "window." That color can be set in Windows screen properties, and Database Explorer will use it. The Windows default is light gray.

ReadOnly Background Color

This color setting is used to indicate that the table is opened in read-only mode. The default value is clWindow. Instead of setting a color inside Database Explorer, users can change the Windows color for a "window." That color can be set in Windows screen properties, and Database Explorer will use it. The Windows default is white.

GridLine Color

This color setting is used to color the lines in the data grid. The default value is clBtnFace.

Negative Numbers Text Color

This form can be used to define a color that should be used to color the text of numeric values that are in the negative range. The default is clRed (red color constant). Negative values are only colored with this color when the configuration flag is set.
