Find And Replace

This dialog, accessible from Ctrl+H, the RTF toolbar, or the floating menu when in the RTF edit object, offers find and replace functions to the user. A text string can be entered, and the FIND NEXT button will attempt to locate the text. The following options are available:

Match Whole Word

  • Only when one of the words in the text has an exact match with the entered word will the find operation be successful.
  • For example, if you search for “grow” in the text “Excellent, steadily growing account,” you will not find the text if this checkbox is selected.

Match Case

  • Only when one of the words in the text has an exact match, respecting the case, with the entered word will the find operation be successful.
  • For example, if you search for “Grow” in the text “Excellent, steadily growing account,” you will not find the text if this checkbox is selected.

Start at Top of Panel

  • This checkbox instructs the find operation to start at the top of the text or to find from the current position.
