Window Menu
This menu shows the options in Windowing within the Database Explorer. It is divided into three sections.
Display Options
This pulldown makes it possible to toggle the availability of all the toolbars, the status bar, and the list of tables tree. Almost all status values will be automatically stored in the Windows registry. The toolbar and menu bar status values are grouped in a section called Commandbars. The availability of the list of tables is often mandatory, and the status will not be retained over the Database Explorer sessions. The last option is to restore the command bar layout to the status when Database Explorer started.
New dbExplorer Window
This option starts a new (additional) session of Database Explorer in the current workspace with no tables open.
A similar function is available on the floating context menu when the cursor is on an entry in the list of tables, in which case the pointed-at table is opened. The only way Database Explorer can have more than one (unrelated) table open at a given time is in multiple concurrent sessions, such as this option creates.
Single Record View
This option switches the data view from grid display mode to single record view mode or vice versa. The same function is available with CTRL+E and via the toolbar.
