Window List

Use the Window List dialog to view a list of all MDI child windows currently open in the Studio. The dialog allows you to multi-select windows and save changes to them or close them. It also allows you to select any window and make it the topmost window.

Window List Grid

Each Code View or Designer View window that is currently open in the Studio is listed in this grid. Use this grid to select one or more windows.

File

This column shows the filename associated with the window plus an icon that represents the type of view.

  • Represents a Designer View window.
  • Represents a Code View window.

If the file requires saving, then this is indicated by superimposing a save icon over the view icon.

Path

This column shows the file path associated with the window.

Operations

Double-Click

Double-clicking one of the windows in the list will make it the topmost window and close the dialog.

Save

Click Save to perform a save operation on each selected file.

Close Window

Click Close Window to close each selected MDI child window.

Close

Click Close to close the dialog.
