Toggle Views

Toggles between Designer view and the Code Editor. In the case of a data dictionary (.DD) file, it toggles between the Data Dictionary Modeler and Code Editor. For a web application view, it toggles between the WebApp Previewer and the Code Editor.

If the file belonging to the current tab window is already split into separate Designer and Code Editor tabs, the appropriate tab window will come to the front and receive focus.
If the file is not split into different tab views, the current tab window switches from displaying the Designer to the Code Editor or vice versa.

Workspace Explorer

Click this button to activate the Workspace Explorer.

Code Explorer

Click this button to activate the Code Explorer.

DDO Explorer

Click this button to activate the DDO Explorer. This tool contains the DDO Structure Editor and the DDO Column Selector. The Structure Editor helps you define the structure of data dictionary objects in a component. The Column Selector allows you to drag and drop table columns onto a component's visual design canvas.

Properties Panel

Click this button to activate the Properties Panel. Use this tool to view and edit the properties of the currently selected object, class, or database table.

Class Palette

Click this button to activate the Class Palette. Use this tool to drag and drop various objects onto a component's visual design canvas or directly onto the Code Editor.

Table Explorer

Click this button to activate the Table Explorer.
