Start or Stop the Web Application Server Service
Start, Stop, or Restart the Web Application Server Service
The recommended way to start and stop the Web Application Server service is to use the Start Service, Stop Service, and Restart Service options found in the File menu of the Web Application Server Administrator.
You may also choose to start, stop, or restart only one of the Web Applications. Just highlight the application you need and select Start Web Application, Stop Web Application, or Restart Web Application from the File menu.
