CodeMaint File Menu
Select Workspace
This option opens the Select Workspace dialog, which is the same dialog used in Database Builder and the Studio. The function is a bit different; when you select a different workspace, the current user workspace will not be changed as it does in the other two tools. Selecting a different workspace is also available via the "Open Workspace" button in the miscellaneous band of the toolbar.
Selecting a workspace is done via the Windows common file dialog. You can either select a Studio WorkSpace (SWS) file or a runtime WorkSpace (WS) file. The Studio WorkSpace files can be located in the root of an application directory structure, while the “normal” workspace files are in the programs folder. In both cases, the same pathing information is retrieved to open the code tables for inspection or editing.
Exit
This option, or the assigned hotkey (ALT+F4), will close the current session of the Code Maintenance tool.
