GetElementRect Method

Description

Retrieves a grid element rectangle.

Parameters

  • Flags
    Grid element rectangle to return. Possible values include:

xtpGridElementRectGridArea Grid rows area.
xtpGridElementRectGroupByArea GroupBy box area.
xtpGridElementRectHeaderArea Column header area.
xtpGridElementRectFooterArea Footer area.
xtpGridElementRectHeaderRecordsArea Header records area.
xtpGridElementRectFooterRecordsArea Footer records area.
xtpGridElementRectHeaderRecordsDividerArea Header records divider area.
xtpGridElementRectFooterRecordsDividerArea Footer records divider area.

  • left
    [out] Left coordinate of grid element specified in Flags.

  • top
    [out] Top coordinate of grid element specified in Flags.

  • right
    [out] Right coordinate of grid element specified in Flags.

  • bottom
    [out] Bottom coordinate of grid element specified in Flags.

Remarks

GetElementRect allows you to get the coordinates of the bounding rectangle for all elements in the Grid Control.
