EnableKeyboardNavigate Method

Description

Specifies the keyboard keys that can be used to navigate the docking panes.

Syntax

Parameters

Options: Flags that specify which keys can be used to navigate the panes.

Key Combinations

PaneKeyboardUnused: Panes cannot be navigated using the keyboard.
PaneKeyboardUseAltMinus: Using this key combination causes a drop-down menu to appear, allowing you to select the move option. You can then use the keyboard arrow keys to move the pane.
PaneKeyboardUseAltF6: Using this key combination passes focus directly to the next pane.
PaneKeyboardUseAltF7: Using this key combination opens a popup window similar to the Windows Alt+Tab window, allowing you to choose the pane that will receive focus from the list of panes in the popup window.
PaneKeyboardUseCtrlTab: Using this key combination also opens a popup window similar to the Windows Alt+Tab window, allowing you to choose the pane that will receive focus from the list of panes in the popup window.
PaneKeyboardUseAll: Panes can be navigated using the Alt+Minus, Alt+F6, Alt+F7, and Ctrl+Tab keys on the keyboard.

Return Type

One or more flags from the DockingPaneKeyboardNavigate enumeration that specify which keys are used to navigate the panes.

Remarks

The EnableKeyboardNavigate method uses one or more flags from the DockingPaneKeyboardNavigate enumeration to specify which keys can be used to navigate the panes. By default, PaneKeyboardUnused is used.
