CreateElement Method

Description

Creates and returns a ChartElement from the specified class name. (For use in VBScript, etc.)

Syntax

Public Function CreateElement( _
    ByVal [ClassName](#) As String _
) As [ChartElement](XtremeChartControl~ChartElement.md)

Parameters

ClassName: Name of the class to create.

Return Type

Returns a ChartElement from the specified class name.

Remarks

This will create and return a chart element. This is used in languages like VBScript where creating an object from the chart isn't possible.

The class names are simply the object name preceded by a "CXTP". For example, to create a ChartPieSeriesStyle element, you pass in CXTPChartPieSeriesStyle.
