BeforeDrawThemeObject Event

Description

Occurs for calendar theme items before they are drawn.

Syntax

Parameters

• eObjType: An object ID from the CalendarBeforeDrawThemeObject enumeration.

• DrawParams: An additional parameter defined for each item in the CalendarBeforeDrawThemeObject enumeration. For time scale parts, this will contain a CalendarThemeDayViewTimeScaleCellParams object. For day view cells, this will contain a CalendarThemeDayViewCellParams object. This value can also be Null depending on the calendar part being drawn.

Remarks

Occurs for calendar theme items before they are drawn. You may customize corresponding theme parts for each object in this event. Any object part changes made in this event will be discarded when the object has finished drawing.

This allows you to dynamically customize each calendar item.

The BeforeDrawThemeObjectFlags property specifies for which Office 2007 calendar objects the BeforeDrawThemeObject event will be fired.

The SetFlag method uses any combination of flags from the CalendarBeforeDrawThemeObject enumeration to specify for which Office 2007 calendar objects the BeforeDrawThemeObject event will be fired. The BeforeDrawThemeObject event occurs when each Office 2007 theme component of the calendar is about to be drawn if some Flags from the BeforeDrawThemeObject enumeration have been set using the SetFlag method. The SetFlag method can be used to set any combination of the CalendarBeforeDrawThemeObject (only use with Office 2007 theme) flags. The BeforeDrawThemeObject will only be fired when drawing components that are specified using the SetFlag method.

If you would like the BeforeDrawThemeObject event to be fired for all flags in the CalendarBeforeDrawThemeObject enumeration, you can simply set BeforeDrawThemeObjectFlags to -1. This will cause the BeforeDrawThemeObject event to fire before each part of the calendar is drawn.
