Reserved Words

DataFlex reserved words are the tokens used as commands, pre-defined functions, pre-defined constants, pre-defined variables, and compiler directives. Reserved words in DataFlex are not case sensitive, so you can mix uppercase and lowercase letters in your programs.

Reserved words cannot be redefined. For example, you cannot define a variable called while because while is the DataFlex reserved word for a looping statement.

Refer to the DataFlex Language Reference for a complete listing of commands, functions, and pre-defined tokens.
