Installing Internet Information Services

Installing IIS for use with DataFlex.

DataFlex needs the following roles and features to be present:

Internet Information Services (IIS)
IIS Metabase and IIS 6 configuration compatibility
DataFlex 19.0 and higher do not require IIS Metabase compatibility.
ASP and ISAPI Extensions (Will be selected automatically after selecting ASP.)

Steps to Install IIS

To install IIS, perform the following steps:

Open the Control Panel and select Programs.
Select Turn Windows features on or off to install Internet Information Services.

After selecting Turn Windows features on or off, a new window appears, allowing you to configure the required features.

Use the Windows Features window to install the required IIS components.

Select Internet Information Services to install IIS and all the default components.
