Enable IIS Metabase and IIS 6 Configuration Compatibility

Enable IIS Metabase and IIS 6 configuration compatibility.

DataFlex 19.0 and higher do not require the IIS Metabase and IIS 6 Configuration compatibility feature. However, if older DataFlex Web applications are present, you must add IIS Metabase and IIS 6 Configuration compatibility to your IIS setup.

After installing IIS, the Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager is installed and needed to manage IIS. DataFlex versions before 19.0 require an additional metabase and compatibility layer to interact with the new IIS 7.x configuration store.

Steps to Enable Compatibility

  1. Select IIS Metabase and IIS 6 Configuration compatibility.

  1. If you previously installed the other required features, you can press OK and the selected features will be installed.
