pbCapture - cWebBaseFileUpload

Allows the capture of media directly from the device's environment using a media capture mechanism

Type: Property
Access: Read/Write
Data Type: Boolean
Parameters: None

Syntax

{ WebProperty=Client }
Property Boolean pbCapture
Access Type Syntax
Read Access: WebGet pbCapture to BooleanVariable
Write Access: WebSet pbCapture to BooleanVariable/Value

Description

Setting this property to True indicates that the capture of media directly from the device's environment using a media capture mechanism is preferred. It should be combined with psAccept, which should be set to a MIME type indicating the type of media being required.

Set psAccept to "image/*"
Set pbCapture to True

The above combination indicates that the camera should be opened to capture an image for upload. Use "video/" for video or "audio/" for audio files. Note that not all devices / browsers support this attribute.

Drag and Drop Support

This property does nothing in the cWebDragDropFileHelper class.

About Web Properties

Each web property maintains two values: The regular property value is set during object creation and should not be changed during the lifetime of that object. To access that value, use the standard property Get and Set syntax.

The web property value is the local value stored at each client. This is synchronized to the client's local value whenever a server call is being processed. To access the web property value, use the WebGet and WebSet syntax above instead of the standard Get and Set syntax.
