Halting during Compilation
Once compilation begins, the Compile button changes to the Halt button. Compilation may be halted by pressing this button. If you halt a compilation, you will not be able to resume it; you will have to restart it from the beginning.
If you halt a compilation whose output is directed to the directory and filename of an existing compiled program, that program will be erased at the start of compilation. After halting, there will be no compiled program file at all. A halted compilation will appear to end normally, with a block of summary data that will report an error total of two more errors than will actually have been reported up to that point.
