Description

The SyntaxEditTextSelection object is used to hold the currently selected text.

Remarks

The SyntaxEditTextSelection object allows you to:

  • Get the currently selected text
  • Clear the selection
  • Set the selection mode
  • Change the selected text
  • Determine the direction of the text selection

This object is used to represent syntax edit text selection. It allows you to get and set the selection properties in two measurements: string and display. The selection may be classified as 'Normal' if its start is less than its end, and 'Reverse' otherwise.
