LockRedraw Property

Description

Returns whether the grid will be redrawn after an item is added.

Property Type

Read-write property

Syntax (Visual Basic)

Public Property LockRedraw() As Boolean

Remarks

The LockRedraw property is used for optimization. The property grid will redraw itself after each item that is added. To optimize, you can use LockRedraw to lock the grid while items are added, then unlock it to draw all items at the same time.

For example, if you need to add 20 items, you can use LockRedraw to lock redraw, then add the 20 items, and finally unlock to allow the grid to draw the items. This way, the grid only redraws itself one time instead of 20.
