The PropertyGridItemColor object represents an item in the Property Grid that stores a color value.

Remarks

The PropertyGridItemColor object is used to create an RGB color item cell in the property grid. When an item of type PropertyGridItemColor is added, an item is displayed that contains a color square showing the current color, as well as the text for red, green, and blue values of the color. There is also a button displayed that will open a color selector to choose a color.

The EditorStyle property is used to specify which type of color selector is displayed. There are three types of color selectors:

  1. A simple color popup
  2. A standard color dialog
  3. An extended color dialog
