Remarks

The TextBlock control will probably be the most used control when using XAML with Codejock controls. The TextBlock control provides flexible text support for Codejock controls. You would use the TextBlock primarily for basic UI scenarios that do not require more than one paragraph of text. You have already seen the TextBlock many times in the Captions, Text, and Tooltips section.

TextBlock supports the hosting and display of inline flow content elements. Supported TextBlock elements are:

  • Bold
  • Hyperlink
  • InlineUIContainer
  • Italic
  • LineBreak
  • Run
  • Span
  • Underline

With the supported elements, the TextBlock is excellent for displaying customized single-line text.
