Padding Property

Description

Gets or sets the padding inside a control.

Public Property Padding() As MarkupThickness

Return Type

A MarkupThickness structure specifying the amount of padding to apply, in pixels. This is the amount of space between the content of a Control and its Margin or Border. The default is a thickness of 0 on all four sides.

Remarks

Padding is specified in the order Left, Top, Right, and Bottom.

Padding can be described as uniform in all directions (e.g., Padding="15"), or as four distinct values that represent left, top, right, and bottom padding independently (e.g., Padding="15,10,15,10").
