GetElementRect Method

Description

Retrieves a grid element rectangle.

Syntax

    ByRef top As Long, _
    ByRef right As Long, _

Parameters

  • Flags: Specifies the grid element rectangle to return. The possible values are:
Value Description
xtpGridElementRectGridArea Grid rows area.
xtpGridElementRectGroupByArea GroupBy box area.
xtpGridElementRectHeaderArea Column header area.
xtpGridElementRectFooterArea Footer area.
xtpGridElementRectHeaderRecordsArea Header records area.
xtpGridElementRectFooterRecordsArea Footer records area.
xtpGridElementRectHeaderRecordsDividerArea Header records divider area.
xtpGridElementRectFooterRecordsDividerArea Footer records divider area.
  • left [out]: Left coordinate of the grid element specified in Flags.
  • top [out]: Top coordinate of the grid element specified in Flags.
  • right [out]: Right coordinate of the grid element specified in Flags.
  • bottom [out]: Bottom coordinate of the grid element specified in Flags.

Remarks

GetElementRect allows you to get the coordinates of the bounding rectangle for all elements in the Grid Control.
