NormalizeSplitters Method

Description

Used to remember the location of splitters.

Syntax

Public Sub NormalizeSplitters()

Remarks

This is useful when changing the size of docking panes. You would call this method after resizing a pane to set the maximum and minimum width and height a pane can be.

Example

This sample illustrates how to use this method in Visual Basic.

Dim A As Pane, B As Pane

' Get reference to pane
Set A = DockingPaneManager.FindPane(1)

' Resize pane to desired size, this will resize the pane
' to the specified width and height (100x100)
A.MinTrackSize.SetSize 100, 100
A.MaxTrackSize.SetSize 100, 100

DockingPaneManager.RecalcLayout

' Remember previous SetSize settings
DockingPaneManager.NormalizeSplitters

' Set the minimum and maximum sizes the splitter can move
' Note, this will not resize the pane, it is specifying how
' large the user can move the splitters
' Maximum/Minimum size will be 0x0 and 200x200
A.MinTrackSize.SetSize 0, 0
A.MaxTrackSize.SetSize 200, 200
