GetClientRect Method

Description

Retrieves the dimensions of the client rectangle, that is, the area on the form which does not have any docking panes. This is needed so you know where the docking panes can be drawn.

Syntax

Public Sub GetClientRect( _
    ByRef Left As Long, _
    ByRef Top As Long, _
    ByRef Right As Long, _
    ByRef Bottom As Long _
)

Parameters

  • Left
    The left point of the client rectangle.

  • Top
    The top point of the client rectangle.

  • Right
    The right point of the client rectangle.

  • Bottom
    The bottom point of the client rectangle.
