ArgumentScaleType Property

Gets/sets the scale type used for the argument of points in this series.

Return Type

An enumerated value specifying the scale type used. The common scale types are Qualitative, Numerical, and DateTime.

Remarks

All charts can use the xtpChartScaleQualitative scale type. The scale type changes how the data is processed and displayed in the chart. xtpChartScaleQualitative will display the data in the order in which it is added, regardless of the type of data. If your data is numerical and needs to be displayed in numerical order, then use the xtpChartScaleNumerical scale type. If your data consists of dates and you want those dates displayed in chronological order, then use the xtpChartScaleDateTime scale.
