Description
Sets the view's resource collection to the specified CalendarResources collection.
Syntax
Public Sub SetMultipleResources(ByVal MultipleResources As CalendarResources)
Parameters
- MultipleResources
Reference to a CalendarResources collection to set as the view's new resource collection.
Remarks
Sets the new CalendarResources collection for all views in the calendar. Each view can have its own resource collection by calling the SetMultipleResources method on that view.
Multiple resources allow multiple schedules to be displayed in the calendar.
Notes:
- A CalendarResource represents a calendar for some subject such as a person, a shared resource, or a group of persons or resources.
- Each resource is drawn in a separate column (a CalendarViewGroup) on the calendar view. Each resource should have its own data provider. For example, events for individuals could be stored in a Memory data provider (for personal or temporary events), while events for shared resources could be stored in a Database data provider (for events not changed by the user). You can use any combination of data providers in the same control.
- When in day view, each calendar day contains one or more CalendarViewGroup objects. Each group displays all the CalendarSchedule objects contained in the CalendarResources for that CalendarViewGroup.
- For example, ScheduleID could contain an employee number that identifies the schedule an event belongs to.
