DayHeaderFormatLong Property

Description

Day header Long date format custom string.

Property Type

Read-write property

Syntax (Visual Basic)

Public Property DayHeaderFormatLong() As String

Remarks

Long, Middle, Short, and Shortest format strings are used for different header widths in the Calendar. The Calendar control automatically selects the longest date format string that can be drawn for the currently active day header width. "Day header" refers to the caption above the day that indicates the day, month, and year for the day. The day header is displayed differently depending on the current view, and the longest possible date format will be displayed. This will update automatically if the size of the days is changed by resizing the window.

By default, the format strings use locale settings from the computer, and DayHeaderFormatXXX properties should be used to customize the default settings.
