GetEvent Method

Description

Retrieves an event by using the ID of the event.

Syntax

Public Function GetEvent( _
    ByVal [EventID](#) As Long _
) As [CalendarEvent](XtremeCalendarControl~CalendarEvent.md)

Parameters

EventID: The ID of the event to retrieve.

Return Type

A CalendarEvent object with the specified EventID.

Remarks

Various Calendar Control events pass the EventID as a parameter when they are fired. The GetEvent method of the Data Provider uses the EventID to retrieve an event.

When using a custom data provider, the DoReadEvent event is fired when GetEvent is called.
