RightToLeft Property

Description

Gets or sets a value indicating whether the Calendar elements are aligned to support locales using right-to-left scripts (for example, Hebrew or Arabic).

Property type

Read-write property

Syntax (Visual Basic)

Public Property RightToLeft() As Boolean

Remarks

The RightToLeft property is used for international applications where the language is written from right to left. When you display these languages, not only must the text flow in the reverse direction from left-to-right languages, but the visual alignment of control elements must also be reversed. When this property is set to True, control elements in the Calendar are displayed from right to left.

Example

The following sample illustrates how to enable RTL mode for the Calendar (Visual Basic):

' Set the Calendar to RTL mode
Calendar.RightToLeft = True
