DoDeleteRPattern Event
Description
Occurs when the RecurrencePattern of an Event has been deleted using the RemoveRecurrence or SetRExceptionDeleted methods of the Event.
Syntax
Public Event DoDeleteRPattern( _
ByVal *pPattern* As [CalendarRecurrencePattern](XtremeCalendarControl~CalendarRecurrencePattern.md), _
ByRef *bResult* As Boolean _
)
Parameters
- pPattern [out] CalendarRecurrencePattern: Object which should be deleted.
- bResult [in]: Set to True if the recurrence pattern was deleted successfully, False if any error occurred during the process.
Remarks
Occurs when the RemoveRecurrence method is used. You must manually delete the event's recurrence pattern using pPattern and then set bResult after deleting the recurrence pattern. The PatternDeleted event will be called immediately after DoDeleteRPattern.
This event occurs only when a custom data provider is used, allowing the developer to handle and implement a custom method.
Notes
The Custom data providers include SQLServer, MySql, and Custom. Custom data providers operate in an "unbound" mode. All data must be provided and retrieved to/from the calendar by the developer. All of the "DoXXXX" (i.e., DoCreateEvent) events will be fired when using a custom data provider, and the developer must implement their own functionality for each event. For example, when an event is created using the CreateEvent method, the DoCreateEvent is fired. The developer can then add special code in the DoCreateEvent to add the event to a database or some other custom data source. For all custom data providers, the ConnectionString must contain "Provider=custom".
