Consuming Your First Web Service

This tutorial will guide you through the most basic steps of consuming Web Services in DataFlex Applications. As you complete tasks, concepts will be explained to you.

This tutorial consists of two sections, one for each application type you may want to use Web Services in:

• Consuming Web Services in Windows Applications
• Consuming Web Services in Web Applications

This tutorial will call the Greeting Web Service that you have created in Creating Your First Web Service, but you can just as easily build clients to access any Web Service in the world that was built in any tool that supports the creation of Web Services.
